Cancellation and Refund Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy describes how Smingle Labs Private Limited ("Smingle," "We," "Us," or "Our") handles cancellations and refunds for event tickets purchased through www.smingle.in. By completing a ticket purchase, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Policy.
1. Summary
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds, cancellations, exchanges, or transfers on tickets once a purchase has been completed. The only exception is described in Section 4 below, which applies when Smingle cancels or materially changes an event.
2. Why This Policy
Smingle events are curated and capacity-limited. Each tier is sized to maintain a specific guest mix and venue ratio, and tickets sold to one guest cannot generally be re-sold to another at short notice. We have set our pricing to reflect this; in exchange, we are unable to accept post-purchase cancellations.
3. No Refunds, Cancellations, or Transfers
Once a ticket purchase has been completed and payment has been confirmed:
- The purchase cannot be cancelled by the buyer.
- No refund will be issued, whether full or partial.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged for a different tier, a different event, or store credit.
- Tickets are issued to the named purchaser and are non-transferable to any other person.
This applies regardless of the buyer's reason for non-attendance, including but not limited to illness, scheduling conflicts, travel difficulties, weather, or change of personal circumstances.
4. If Smingle Cancels or Materially Changes the Event
If Smingle cancels an event, postpones it by more than seven (7) days, or materially changes the venue or date such that you can no longer attend, you will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price paid.
In such cases:
- We will notify affected ticket holders by email using the email address provided at the time of purchase.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment instrument used at checkout.
- Refunds will be initiated within seven (7) working days of the cancellation announcement, and may take an additional five to ten (5–10) working days to reflect in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Smingle's liability in such cases is limited to the ticket price paid. We are not responsible for any incidental costs you may have incurred (such as travel, accommodation, or time off work).
5. Refusal of Entry
As described in our Terms and Conditions, Smingle reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the venue, any person whose conduct or condition is deemed inappropriate. No refund will be issued where entry is refused or revoked on such grounds.
6. Payment Failures
If a payment is debited from your account but a ticket confirmation is not received within twenty-four (24) hours, please contact us at support@smingle.in with your transaction reference. We will work with our payment gateway to either deliver your ticket or reverse the charge.
